Biography:

Full Name: Muhammad Nazir bin Tahmas bin Yusuf(Shaheed) Nikakhel
Born: Tuesday, 10th April 1969 (23rd Muharram 1389H)
Birthplace: Battamori, District Battagram, North-West Pakistan
Family Position: Fifth child
 
📖 Early Education
Mufti Saheb began his education in his village, where he memorised the Holy Qur’an at the young age of 6–7 years.
At that time, there were no fixed teachers in the area, so students studied under multiple teachers.
Alongside his ḥifẓ, he also completed his primary education.
 
🏫 Journey of Knowledge
He travelled to Karachi to pursue Islamic studies.
 
He and his brother enrolled in Jāmiʿatul ʿUlūm al-Islāmiyyah (Jamia Binoria SITE Karachi of Mufti Naeem was the branch of Jamiatul Uloom Al Islamiya of Allamah Yusuf Banori rah), founded by Allamah Yusuf Binori (RA).
 
He studied under:

•Maulana Aslam Shaikhpuri Shaheed (RA)
 
Later, he continued his studies at Darul Uloom Karachi, where he completed Dars E Nizāmi & Takhasus FIL Fiqah , on the side Mufti Saheb would visit Mufti Jhangir rah and do revision (Dhor) of the Qur’an.

🎓 Graduation & Teachers
Mufti Saheb completed Dars-e-Nizami and Iftā at Darul Uloom Karachi, under renowned scholars such as:

🕌 Service to Dīn
 
In Pakistan:
After graduating, Mufti Saheb returned to his village, married, and began teaching at Jamia Muhammadiyah Arabiyah, Latif Abad, Nawabshah, under Sufi Ataullah Saheb.
Later, due to family circumstances, he moved to Karachi and taught at Jamia Ashraful Madaris, Pehlwan Goth, under Hakim Akhtar Saheb (RA) from 1993 to 1997/98.
 
🇬🇧 Service in the UK:
Mufti Saheb moved to the United Kingdom (1999/2000), serving as Imam at Masjid Noor and Masjid Bilal, Huddersfield.
In 2001/02, at the request of Hazrat Maulana Abdul Majeed Anwar (RA), he began teaching in Rochdale, continuing the work of Maulana Kamal (RA).
 
In 2003, he joined Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda (Blackburn) as a full-time teacher and served as Imam at Masjid-e-Noor (Saunders Road, Blackburn).
 
🏗️ Abbottabad Project
While in Makkah al-Mukarramah, Mufti Saheb received spiritual indication to establish an institute in Abbottabad, comprising a:

🏡 Family accommodation
 
In 2013, he consulted senior scholars including:
Maulana Qamaruz Zaman Ilahabadi (DB)
Maulana Yusuf Motala (RA)

Shaykh Saleem Dhorat Saheb (DB)
 
All gave duas and encouragement for the project.
He later purchased land in Lower Islamkot, Abbottabad (KPK).
 
🏫 Current Role
Since 2021, Mufti Saheb has moved permanently to Abbottabad, where he now supervises and manages his institute full-time under the Al-Imdad Education Welfare Society.
 
📍 The institute, Madrassah Imdad-ul-Uloom, currently caters for 160+ students, offering both Islamic and academic education, along with boarding and welfare services.

🌿 Spiritual Path (Tasawwuf)
Initially connected with Mufti Rasheed Ahmad Ludhyanvi (RA) of Jamia-tur-Rasheed, Karachi.
After his demise, Mufti Saheb became spiritually linked to Maulana Qamaruz Zaman Ilahabadi (DB) from Ilahabad, India, and received Khilāfah from him in 2010.
